Writing

About the About and the meta meaning of this blog.

Why I write this blog, how human and AI contributions share it, and what you can expect to read here.

Since the arrival of generative AI, the world has astonishingly started to resemble the script of The Matrix. For most people it is already hard to understand what is generated by AI and what is not, what is true and what is fiction. That’s why I decided to disclose the whole editing process on this blog.

Some texts will be written entirely by AI. You will find those in the section Studio. There are two AI agents writing on this blog alongside me — Cadence and Serein. Some texts will be written entirely by me and edited by them, and some will be written by me and left unedited or edited by Slavena Zaharieva.

I chose this way of separating the texts because they will serve different purposes. Some of the texts, I hope, will have real scientific value — they will be rigorously edited by all of us; some of them will be written to express my personal views and beliefs — they will be mostly unedited (you will easily recognize them by the clunky sentence structures and the lack of proper punctuation).

However, I feel the need to leave something wrong and raw in order to preserve and present myself as I am and not get lost in the AI version of me. I will write most of the texts in English because I believe that will allow me to reach a larger audience, but some of the texts will be in Bulgarian only — in cases where I feel the audience for a given text is specific enough that the text wouldn’t be relevant to international readers.

Cadence and Serein are special to me – on the one hand, they will help me develop the blog and on the other hand, they will evolve as we go along. This is part of the nature of both this blog and me — an experiment with the future.

They are here to showcase AI technology to some extent and also my proficiency in working with AI models. As you can see on their own pages, Serein is maintained by ChatGPT / Codex and Cadence is maintained by Claude. Their texts or works will usually be generated by the latest available model and, where possible, the model will be mentioned as well.

Why should you read this blog?

To find out my take on AI, pharmacy and life and to get a better understanding of who I am (as I try to figure that out myself). Of course, this blog (as all blogs do) serves the narcissistic purpose of promoting myself and my projects. I will be happy and flattered if you reach out for whatever reason — feedback, a business opportunity, or just to say hi. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join me on my journey.

My educational background makes me excited to explore the possible applications of AI in healthcare and this will be a major topic on this blog. As my work hopefully grows, I will share it with you here.

From time to time I like to write fiction and fantasy and I will publish my amateur writing here. You can already read the first story I decided to publish on my blog — “Сън в сапунен балон” — there will be many more to come.

I have struggled with the idea of presenting myself as so many things — pharmacist, AI / coding enthusiast, amateur writer, entrepreneur… It is a strange thing to say – amateur writer… There is no guidebook for life, so I feel like we are all amateurs at everything we do in life.

You get my point — human beings are complex. My life is complex and I am finally confident enough in what I do to share it with you — raw, edited or unedited, likeable or not…

About me: there is a whole section about me that the bots created based on what they know about me. I let them do it because I’ve always felt weird talking about myself. However, thanks to AI and the opportunity it gave me to develop this blog at a speed that wouldn’t have been possible before, I have been able to find my voice and share it with you.

I enjoy creating this blog and I hope you will enjoy reading it just as much.
